About the Museum
The Mad Science Museum explores the world of strange science — eccentric researchers, bizarre experiments, weird theories, and the like. The focus here is on science that's impractical, odd, slightly deranged, and maybe even a bit scary, i.e., this isn't the kind of "normal" science you might have been forced to learn in high school. Though as you browse the exhibits, you just might end up learning some of that normal science, purely by accident! (And, of course, just because it's 'mad science' doesn't mean it's not good science — some of it is, some of it isn't.)
The museum is curated by Alex Boese, author of several books about bizarre science: Elephants on Acid (published in 2007) and Electrified Sheep (published in 2011). You can contact him by email at: alex@madsciencemuseum.com.
The museum is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
